 I. Purposes of Practicum

The purposes of my practicum have been incredibly fulfilling, meeting my needs on both a professional and personal level. Professionally, this experience has allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge from my Bachelor of Secondary Education in a real-world setting. I've gained valuable hands-on experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement, which are essential skills for my future career as a teacher. Working alongside experienced educators at Future School and Dong Thap University has provided me with mentorship and insights that I wouldn't have gained through coursework alone.

On a personal level, the practicum has been transformative. It has boosted my confidence in my teaching abilities and allowed me to build meaningful relationships with my students and colleagues. The challenges I faced, such as overcoming language barriers and maintaining student engagement, have taught me resilience and adaptability.
